Tune Thursday - Coffee for work
Hi! This week's playlist is devoted to one of the activities most of us have to go through every day: working. Sometimes a routine, sometimes a challenge and sometimes a fun time, work deserves to be accompanied with a good cup of coffee and some music to make our duties more fun to be carried out. For this purpose, I created two playlists: I interviewed people at my work to find out what they listen to when working. Surprisingly, most of them listen to rock (I do, too!) but others prefer a more chill yet cheerful set to help on their concentration. Here are my winners:
Chill option:
Benjamin Francis Leftwhich - Atlas hands
Yellow Ostritch - Zebra (Beach House cover)
Ed Sheeran - The A Team
Austin Basham - Running
Coco B's - Bluebird
Jose Gonzalez - Heartbeats (The Knife cover)
Death Cab for Cutie - I will follow you into the dark
Vampire Weekend - Unbelievers
Travesía Sounds (Coffee for work - Chill)
Punk Rock option:
Green Day - 21 guns
All Time Low - Dear Maria, count me in
Boys Like Girls - Great escape
Real Friends - Mess
A Day to Remember - All I want
Red car wire - Kids in love
Neck Deep - Kali Ma
Thirty Seconds to Mars - Kings & queens
Travesía Sounds (Coffee for work - Punk Rock)
I know I said earlier that most people listen to rock while working (referring to rock classics), but I am a HUGE fan of punk rock, and since I hadn't dedicated a playlist to one of my favorite genres before (although not ALL of those songs are punk), I decided to begin with this post, since that the kind of music I choose while working, along with my coffee of course
